These General Terms and Conditions govern the rights and obligations between the accommodation provider and the guests of Stay Ostuni (hereinafter referred to as the “Provider”).

1. Reservations and Conclusion of Contract
A reservation becomes binding immediately after it is confirmed by the Provider (usually via email) and after the required deposit or full payment for the stay has been paid, according to the selected booking conditions.
By submitting a booking form or making a reservation, the guest confirms that they have read these General Terms and Conditions and that they agree to them without reservation.
2. Payment Terms
- Deposit: To confirm a reservation, a deposit is required in the amount specified during the booking process (or full payment, if so stated).
- Balance: The remaining balance of the accommodation price is due before arrival or on-site, according to the conditions of the specific reservation.
- Payment Methods: Payments are accepted via bank transfer or PayPal.
3. Cancellation Policy
In the event of a cancellation by the guest, the following cancellation policies apply:
- If the reservation is cancelled more than 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will be refunded in full (excluding any bank fees).
- If the reservation is cancelled 14 to 30 days prior to arrival, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total stay price applies.
- If the reservation is cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival, or in the case of a no-show, a cancellation fee of 100% of the total stay price applies.
4. Check-in & Check-out
- Check-in: From 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM (unless otherwise agreed). Late arrivals must be reported in advance.
- Check-out: By 10:00 AM.
- Guests are required to present a valid identity document (passport or ID card) upon arrival for mandatory registration purposes under Italian law.
5. Local Tourist Tax (Tassa di Soggiorno)
Depending on the applicable regulations of the Italian authorities and the city of Ostuni, a local tourist tax (tassa di soggiorno) may be collected on-site, unless it is already included in the total accommodation price. Guests will be informed of this in advance.
6. House Rules and Obligations of Guests
Guests are required to follow basic rules of polite behavior, treat the apartment’s equipment with care, and observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
- All indoor areas of Stay Ostuni apartments are strictly non-smoking.
- Pets is not allowed.
- The guest is liable for any damage caused to the Provider’s property during their stay.
7. Liability
The Provider is not responsible for valuables, money, or personal belongings left by guests in the apartment.
8. Final Provisions
These General Terms and Conditions enter into force and effect on the date of their publication on the website. The Provider reserves the right to amend these terms if necessary.
